Major eye injuries.......?

A member of my family is blind in one eye (so is Gordon Brown Prime Minister). He will be able to drive and do anything he did before. The surgeons will tell him when he will be safe to drive. Depends on recovery. Hope he is going to claim from the Criminal Injuries Board for compensation.
