Making crochet pattern fit a plus size women?

Hi! i'm an AVID crocheter and have been crocheting for several years. I have always wanted to branch into making clothes but I seem to only be able to find patterns for smaller ppl--small, med, large, xl. I am a bigger girl and have big tatas! LOL so I need larger patters! Is there a way to can add stitches to regular patters to make them larger?
