I have a major test anxiety. My midterm is a week away and try to study on the weekend. But I keep panicking and try to rush the information in my head. I keep panicking especially right now. I already fail the first test due to my anxiety and now I can't fail anymore. Just great. How can I stay calm and get information efficiency? Especially for calculus 2 and calculus-based physics?

I had two interviews over the phone, the first went horribly but they called me back for a second one on conference call with the two hiring managers. Oh my Zeus, that must be terrible. I'm kind of in a similar situation; I have dermatillomania which is basically compulsive scab picking and I have an obsession with breaking off any damaged ends of my hair and pulling out any that don't look "right." It used to be TERRIBLE, I would be pulling at my hair all the time, ALL THE TIME, but Zoloft has really done wonders for that. The skin picking's still a problem though :/ Okay, here's what you need to do: tell someone you trust who is in a position to help you or to get you help. You need a psychologist or mental health social worker, and a psychiatrist to order meds for you. I know you don't want to be on medication at thirteen years old, but trust me, it will make a big difference once you get the on right one or ones. I would suggest putting band-aids over the places you pick at most often, and wearing long sleeves, because you're less likely to pick if getting at your wounds is a hle. I know how hard it is to stop, but I think that if you do the right things and make enough of an effort, you can at least reduce it a lot. As for telling your mom, just sit down and talk with her about it. It's a scary thing, telling someone you have this kind of problem and you can't control it on your own, but in the end, it'll be worth it. I wish you the best of luck! <3

i hate pens, only use them to sign my name. i also hate pencils you have to sharpen. i use .5mm click pencils. someone asked me why i use them all the time and i told him it was so i could erase errors, but then i started noticing that i never used the eraser, i just scratched mistakes out like i would have to with a pen. i think the real reason i like click pencils is cuz they are so fine and i can write super tiny with them...and maybe cuz they carry the symbol of changing your mind and taking back what you decided on, even if you don't use it that way.

I don't think anyone (even a dr) could say at this stage if it's hurt your baby or not, but it sounds llike you're doing everything right. Can't you see a dr sooner about your pregnancy? In Aberdeen you go every week to a pregnancy clinic if you have diabetes right from when you're trying for the baby. I think what you need to remember is that people have healthy babies even when they're on heroin or don't know they're pregnant and drink and smoke throughout - your body does compensate and look after the baby for you to some extent. You're doing your very best for your baby and if anything does go wrong then it's probably not going to be because of anything that you've done wrong. Within our subconscious we have a need to satisfy others, and as you said, you can't satisfy everyone and if you do try it will drive you crazy. My piece of advice that I can safely give you is to find what is important to you and prioritize those things over what isn't as important. I believe through this method you will accomplish more things, thus improving your self-esteem and in the process you may learn how to not only do those things that are important to you well, but also learn how to incorporate those less important things into your life without compromising the things of importance. Why not go home for the summer, get a job and save your money? You'll need a couple thousand dollars to live on your own -- many places require a month's rent in advance, plus a rental deposit. You'll need to spend some money on household expenses -- a couple of pots and pans, some dishes to eat on, towels, toilet paper, stuff like that to get you started. You can get a lot of that stuff at Goodwill, Salvation Army, thrift shops, etc., but you have to be able to get it home on the bus. Life on your own is going to be a lot more difficult than you think, so take a few months to build yourself a cash reserve, get a work reference to help in landing a job in Minneapolis, and generally plan ahead.

My 95 le model chysler neon makes throthing noise, automatically revs and losses take off power.?

Actually, this problem started on day after i change my connecting rods and pistons. i was on the high way when i noticed that the car had lost take off power. a friend said it was a fuel filter problem. i ended up changing my fuel pump. the problem is however still persistent. i had the injector nozzles sprayed clean, changed my fuel in case it was bad fuel yet it persisted. i have been suspecting my oxygen sensor. i still have the old one plugged. i had it cleaned and there was a bit of inprovement for a few hours. When i start the car in the morning, it will usually make some throthing noise and eventually rev very high and stabilise eventually. A mechanic mentioned it could be the iac valve but he is not sure. i almost got ran over by a lorry one day when i tried to overtake after a traffic jam. the car moved and suddenly lost take off power thus not being able to make a quick one. i was saved by grace. What could be wrong please. i need help

Most appliances with a standing pilot have instructions on how to relight it. If not you usually have to put the gas valve on "pilot". Push the valve in and light the pilot. Hold the valve in for one minute so the thermocouple can warm up enough to produce it's own voltage to hold the pilot gas on by itself. Then turn the gas back t the on position. It should be just like a water heater. Your water heater directions should be very similar to the boiler if it also has a standing pilot system.

Kanye West to me, is one of the most ignorant public celebrities that I can think of. Instead of doing good things with the public spotlight, he uses it to slander and ridicule others. alright, so i'm trying to figure out when i have lunch during the school day. there are 4 possible lunch times:4a,4b,5a,5b. you look at where your homeroom time is on your schedule. if its 4th or 5th period, and then you check the cl id number (if the number is odd it's b if even it's a). my homeroom is 4th period, so i either have 4a or 4b, but i don't know which one. what would the cl id number be?? is it the same as "section id"?

Tips on how to get over this?

I am an extremely shy person. Most of my friends are very bubbly and outgoing and I love it because that means less talking on my end (I'm also a quiet person). This does pose a problem when guys come up to me and talk to me, even if it's on a platonic level (like if they come up to meet me). If I find a guy attractive and he goes out of his way to talk to me I can't even look at him, I get shaky and I'm even a bit afraid to talk too much (for fear that he might not like what I have to say). What i mean is, I've recently started using a treadmill at 7.5 km/h for 10 minutes (does that suck? but I've just started) and that's about the time I start panting. I know that the greater the speed, the greater the energy I'm consuming, so that must mean that I won't be consuming as much energy if I were to jog at 4km/h for ten minutes. Therefore I'd be able to run for much longer at 4 km/h, but for how long? For ten minutes at 7.5 km/h, that's really 1.25 km and if a relationship were linear, then my body MUST be able to run at 4 km/h for about 19 minutes and 15 seconds to acheive that same distance of 1.25km, right? Or does the body not conserve energy at a steady rate and I could possibly either tire out before or after that calculated time? Whatever, I'll find out on my next run.

Mucous Coming out of throat?

I have had a weird feeling in the back of my throat, as if I have to cough, but nothing comes out, and I am constantly trying to clear my throat, then yesterday I actually coughed up some yellow mucous, and today when I woke up, I coughed up a little more. I also feel like its a little harder to breath. My chest hurts a little bit, when I try to cough. No fever, or runny nose, just mucous, and a little self induced cough to get the stuff out of my throat, even though most of the time nothing comes. I have no allergies, and I usually get Bronchitis once or twice a year. I am a smoker, and I take Oxycodone (as prescribed) for my neck and back problems. Any ideas?

A 200x microscope is certainly enough to see bacteria, but you're totally right in that without staining, they are nearly impossible to see. We live in Michigan. I don't think there is anything really wrong with a dad teaching his daughter or son how a car operates at age 10. Letting them drive, however, is another matter. Not necessarily because of legal issues, but what happens if the child accidentally hits something? How are you going to get your car insurance to cover that? Letting an underage driver use the car is grounds for refusal to cover. Same thing with the tractor trailer. If it belongs to you than I see no reason not to let a 14 year old become familiar with the workings of it, especially if she is interested in getting her endorsements at 18. Again, though, you have insurance issues to consider. Then, if the tractor trailer belongs to a company and isn't yours than it would not be a good idea to allow an underage driver behind the wheel. I think if the girls are interested in learning to drive than having dad show them how things work is great, but actually doing much driving on their own would have some serious ramifications if anything were to happen accidentally.

4 week old eating too much?

When my son was 3 weeks, he went from eating 3oz to 4oz overnight. This concerned me enough. He gained two pounds in two weeks, and so far the doctors have only praised us on his weight gain (he went at two weeks, not since, and doesn't have an igned pediatrician yet). And once again, just about overnight, 4oz isn't enough for him. He roots like crazy, trying to get anything in his mouth. I try to pacifier, but that only works until he realizes that nothing is coming out of it, and then the screaming starts. I gave him 5oz, and he is still acting starved. He is up to 10 lbs 2oz, and was born at 7lbs 12oz.

That is a lot of money for a teenager to spend when they don't have an income and they have to go behind their parents back most likely. Thumb sucking 11 month old!?

so my daughter is almost 11 months old and has never really been one for sucking..she only used a pacifier for a few weeks, and as never sucked her thumb, until today for some reason. i was rocking her to slep for her afternoon nap and she had been drinking a bottle but she threw it down and started chewing on her fingers, which she does allllll the time, especially since shes getting a bunch of teeth all at once, but then she started sucking on her thumb a little bit. i dont want a thumb sucking child! is there anyway i can deter her from doing it? short of, you know, putting tabasco sauce on her thumb (ive heard of people doing this i think its incredibly cruel)

The first picture is taken where you can get a good backdrop from space, yet the photographer is close enough where the atmospheric layer is very clear.
